calcium flakes on bottom of tub after running jets

Hi all. I bought a new tub (Hot Spring Prodigy) one month ago and had a scaling problem the first day I filled it because I did not use enough metal control. The water is properly balanced now. However, every time I run the jets, small, pepper sized flakes of calcium end up on the seats, about 10-15 flakes each time. I know they are calcium and not bio-film because they dissolve in vinegar, not in chlorine.

It only takes a minute to vacuum them up, but it has been happening for a month. I assume these flakes are coming from scale inside of the pipes that formed during the scaling problem. Do I just have to live with this or is there a quicker way to get the rest of the scale out of the pipes?

Current water stats:
ph - 7.4
TA - 70
CH - 100
FC - 3.5.
Water temp - 104.

It will work itself out eventually. You can lower your CSI to dissolve the scale faster, somewhere around -0.8 to -0.9. The pH would probably do better With TA between 50 and 60.

How did you get calcium scale that quickly? 250 CH level isn't terribly high, that's the target level for my plaster pool. How do metals come into play
