No. High Alk is only a problem if it causes the PH to drift up too high frequently, so that acid dosing becomes annoyingly frequent (usually more of a problem with a pool with water features or SWGs).
That's fine. What will happen is each time you add acid to lower the PH down, the TA will drop a little too. So eventually the TA will get into the recommended range and the PH should stabilize for you.
