Trichlor adds 0.6 ppm of CYA for each 1 ppm of chlorine. The absolute quantities depend on the size of the puck (they seem to come in 6, 7, and 8 oz sizes).
This is correct. An 8-ounce puck in 10,000 gallons will increase FC by 5.48 ppm and CYA by 3.33 ppm. The 6 and 7 ounce pucks will add proportionately less.
