It's currently decently clear, but green tint.

6.8 ph
2.5 FC
(forgot to test CC..whoops)
30 TA
50 CYA

So obviously we have some things off here. Need to get the ph up, but they can't keep the ph up because their TA is so low.

Pool pal says:
Add 21 lbs of baking soda (for TA)
Add 79 oz of bleach
Add 5.2 of borax
Add 5.8 CYA

So I don't know what order to do it in, and whether to do it gradually or not. Just need a little direction. Thanks!

If you use washing soda to raise pH, you'll also be raising TA. Figure out the desired pH change using washing soda instead. Your first priority is to raise pH to 7.2-7.4. Retest pH and TA after adding. Depending on how much you add, your TA should come up by about 15-20 as well. Adjust pH again if needed, then you need to move onto the SLAM procedure. 60 ppm TA is usually enough so no need to try to raise any higher than that right now.

With a CYA of 50, figure out your shock level FC, then use pool math or pool pal to figure out how much to add to get to your SLAM level. It's going to be significantly more than 79 oz. More like 7 gallons of household (8.25%) bleach. Then you need to maintain... and brush brush brush to the 3 passing criteria.

Add baking soda to get TA to about 60ppm. Retest TA and pH after an hour or so. If pH is still not in the 7s, raise it wil borax.

Then follow the SLAM Process process. Do not raise the CYA until you pass the 3 criteria to stop the SLAM. Then you can raise it up and dial in the SWG.
