Thoughts and opinions

I need thoughts and or opinions on this pool package. I don't know much about the sand filter, pump or skimmer. Does anyone know the quality or issues with them? These were in the pool package that we are looking to purchase through a Doughboy dealer.

In my opinion a 15" sand filter (1.25 sq ft of filtering area) is too small for your pool. I previously had a 14" sand filter on my 18X48 and needed to backwash after every second vacuum, or just about every 2-3 weeks. A 21" filter would get you 2.2 sq ft, almost double the effective filtering area.

Thank you for the suggestion. I will ask for the larger sand filter.
