Lion Head Wall Spout Fell Off

Today my daughter decided to use the lion head wall spout as a stepping stone to get up the wall and it came detached from the wall. It looks like it was installed with some type of mortar.
Looking for suggestions on what to use to reinstall the lion head.

I would try either construction adhesive or landscape block adhesive. Both in tubes on the paint aisle at Lowes.

I went with the Gorilla glue construction adhesive for a few extra bucks.

Previously the lion head had water leaking around the edge so I'm sure it was on its way to falling off. The second lion head will be coming off soon since it has a leak around the base also. They should be tightly sealed for years to come.

Thanks for the recommendation as I wasn't sure if there was some type of special glue used for this type of application.
