I recently bought a Intermatic PS3000 Pool Surge Protector, but my electrician said I can't install it on my system because my wiring has only 2 hots and a ground, but not the necessary return wire. Hmmm. I've always understood that these can be wired to the grounding bus or conductor if a grounded neutral conductor is not present.
