What is this staining?

So I let the pool guy go today. This is something that has been bugging for a while. When we bought the house in 2014 there was a lot worse staining than this and we had it acid washed where it was pristine white. Now the staining is back. The pool bottom shows some but not as much as the Kreepy Krawler keeps it cleaner. Pool guy says it is just dirt staining. Is it or something worse?

TF-100 is on the way so numbers on Saturday since UPS delivers tomorrow.

In TapaTalk app it went someplace else. In Chrome on my laptop it went where it was intended to go. Something fishy with tapatalk?
