Pump Pressure and Cleaning Question

I back flush my pump at least every 2 months, once the pressure rises from 12 to 17. My starting pressure once backflushed and new DE added is always 12. Curious if I take apart filter to spray and clean the filters if this pressure would be lower? I have never disassembled the filter since we started the pool up end of June last year, builder never mentioned it, I do see people on here doing it soon after the inital startup for plaster dust, etc. .. Any thoughts on this.

Complete teardown would be a good practice annually. And yes, teardown at around 30 to 40 days after a new plaster is a good idea. Not required by the manufacturer mind you, just good maintenance/ practice.
