Advise for pool contractor in AZ

Hi there!
I'm just starting the search for a contractor here in Arizona, I live in the east valley area. Any recommendations or advise regarding what to look for in a builder would be appreciated.
Also, opinions regarding going with a company that assists in building your own pool would be welcomed.

I've decided to go with a local company that helps you build your own pool.
Here is the design so far, I welcome any advise/comments!
Hopefully I do these pics right...
I don't have anything else at this point, but I will post more pics, when I do.
Thank you for any help - I'm a little nervous & I have a lot to learn!
