Hi everyone!

I am new on here and have been learning a lot! Thanks!!

I am having a a beautiful pool built and have two water bowls on columns. I want to add river rocks or landscaping rocks to add color vs just having water and the pvc pipes visible. What is the norm and is there anything I should avoid (like fire pit glass or?) I am looking to use something in the blue/teal family of color.

Thanks!!

Hey there PaulyC :) Welcome!

As I read your post I was thinking "Fire Pit Glass!" until you suggested avoiding that. Why? I've never heard of a problem, but then again I don't have any.

River rocks are commonly used, but they're not too colorful. Alternatively you could perhaps paint the inside of the bowl itself blue/teal and just use the brown river rocks there..... (special paint obviously)

Yippee :flower:

addendum: Could the pool builder apply your pool finish to the inside of the bowls? Just an odd idea ....
