I am performing my first "closing" of an above-ground pool in NY and am running out of time to purchase an air "pillow" to put underneath the cover. This above-ground pool is partially surrounded by a wood deck and it is 18'x33' in size. I've read suggestions of using an inner tube instead, since they are more durable and won't break after 1 season, but I'm not sure what size would be sufficient and how many I should use. Is there a better product? Would you recommend a standard pool air pillow instead?
