We're looking at purchasing a leaf net to cover our pool to keep most of the leaves/debris out while the leaves fall. Anyone have one or used one? They're fairly reasonable to purchase, so just curious what other people have experienced with them
I have one. My pool sets in back yard with tree's on 3 sides. I use it when rain and wind is coming. Works well so far. Am going on 5 Day vacation end of month and will use it while I'm gone. Bill
Actually the place that installed my pool advised to just use the leaf cover in the winter. Been doing that now for 7 seasons and its great. The rain/snow just melts through it but it keeps out all the big debris. Best part is come spring you just hook the return back up and top off the pool and you're in business! Waaaay nicer than having to deal with a tarp that collects all kinds of goo and then leaks into your pool water as you try and drain/remove the winter tarp.
that's what we're planning on using instead of a cover. We face a huge field and no matter how much we tie the cover down, it never fails that wind gets under it and we end up with the disgusting contents in the pool which totally defeats the purpose of the cover!
