Hello all,
Thanks for this tremendously informative forum. We bought a house with a pool (specs in signature) in June and the pool was more of a pond than a pool with tadpoles, pond scum and all. But we managed to clean it up partly thanks to the useful information in this forum. The chemistry is pretty much under control, but now the pump went out and after deciding on a new one, again with helpful information from the forum, I'll be looking for help with installation in the appropriate section. While the pool has been quite some work, we've been enjoying it very much during this hot, muggy summer.

Sorry to hear about your pump woes, but at least you've got a handle on the water chemistry. Make sure to watch your FC level while your pump is having problems. We'll look for any other posts you may have later. Good luck!
