Intex 22x52 ag ultraframe. Been fighting holes and leaks. Big gash started and the pool blew. Trying to decide if it can be fixed. How to fix it, or the best methods. It's about 12 inches and we lost nearly all contents. (Maybe 2 inches left) Probably from elevating on blocks to level. It was given to us. So we are new at the whole deal. Advice? Buy new, buy different kind, too late in season to refill.

12 inches is an awful big tear to try and replace, especially if the pool is older as it was given to you. You could either shop for a new replacement liner and re-level the base or perhaps now is the perfect excuse to go out and upgrade to a new pool? 
If you're good at comparison shopping you might be able find a great deal on a new one. Our 16x48 intex round pool is $629 at Walmart, about that much on amazon and everywhere else. But i found it for $369 at kmart.
