Easy Pool Float Rack

Everybody has this problem.. pool floats either scattered around the deck, or piled up in a corner. They get dirty and collect leaves/debris.

I came up with this after seeing that FB post about PVC pipe being used to make a towel rack.

Total cost was less than $50 in PVC pipe & joints. Took 3 trips to Lowes, but what project doesn't??

It's 1.5" PVC for the frame and all the uprights. The joints are all simple T fixtures. There are caps on all the pipe ends, including the feet keep dirt and water out.

The joints/caps fit tight, so everything is put together without glued/cement. This way it can be taken apart for storage at the end of the pool season.

The double horizontal bars on the bottom make it very sturdy. The uprights are 8" apart for floats.

The design is pretty adaptable. It can be made bigger/smaller by adjusting the lengths/numbers of pipe.

Hope somebody finds it useful!
