After SLAM question

Hey all,

So passed the CC and overnight test. The pool is at 29ppm currently. How long should it take to come down with no activity in the pool? Also, when should we check alkalinity and PH? Do you wait until the chlorine levels are at their target?

So the last part of the trifecta for stopping the SLAM is really clear pool water with no sign of algae. You passed that, I assume.

Hard to say how long for FC to come down. What is your CYA?

Yes sir, it's crystal clear. It was 45 at the start of the SLAM. We're going to do another CYA test tonight to see if all the back washing/filling impacted the levels.
