First time build - 6 way valve won't seat flush to the top of the tank so I can't get the clamp bolt on. It acts like the center pipe is to long. The center pipe is not to high because the tank is empty of sand. What is going on?
Seems I recall this happening to another member recently. I don't have the manual in front of me at the moment, but did it call for some lube around the parts that slip together?
Thanks Texas Splash - Turns out you have to give it a good shove with the palm of your hand and it snaps in place. The 6 way valve fits very snug into the top tank. Once bullied into place you can fit the collar on and tighten the screws.
Yes and I have regretted using that age old technique many times over years but this time it is exactly what was required. How do you close out a thread as solved on this forum? Or do you?
I'll be glad to do it. Thanks, and glad you resolved your issue. Enjoy your weekend.
