Hi,
I am new to pools and eager to learn the BB method. I had an old and broken DE filter and at the suggestion of the pool company, replaced it with sand. I now fear that I made a mistake! Is there really a noticeable difference between the clarity of DE and sand filters?
There is DE in my water from the old filter and the sand filter does not seem to be pulling it out. Do I need to use flocc and vacuum to waste or is there some other way to remove the cloudiness from my water, assuming alot of it is from old DE.
Thanks
