I really don't want to step foot in the pool store. eek! lol I know Lowe's and Wal-Mart sell stabilizer...any advice on who has the best? Or are they all pretty much the same?
It doesn't matter where you buy it. The main thing is to look for a CYA (cyanuric acid) concentration of at least 95%. I have purchased it at both stores you mentioned above.
just a sidenote- not this product but I've seen other "Chlorox" pool products that have "Blue" in the name. Avoid them like the plague as they seem to contain copper also. NOT what you want in your pool water.
Got the same 4 lb product from Amazon Prime a few weeks ago for $12.77 each. It's $15.99 right now, but keep an eye on it as Amazon will fluctuate price quite often. I think WalMart was same price too at the time. But Amazon was no tax for me.
I need to bump mine up a bit more and I'll have to do a little bit for years to come, so I'm trying out this one from amazon. Buying 10 pounds for $30. We'll see how it works out.
