Our spa spillover shelf has come completely loose and I would like to know what is the best product and technique with which to anchor it back down.
This shelf, that appears to be made of marble, has a lip that overhangs the pool which provides leverage to pop it up and off it's shelf seat, so it is important that the shelf be securely anchored or else children playing could pop it loose or worse have it fall and hurt the pool or someone else.
Surveying this website, Lowes, Amazon, and the pool store has led to at least 4 products to consider:
1. Thin-set Mortar (cannot find "pool-safe" or "underwater" on label at hardware store)
2. Easy Patch 1 Pool Repair Plaster (found at pool store)
3. Hand-Moldable Epoxy (found at pool store)
4. Pool Patch tile setting repair kit (Amazon)
Please provide guidance regarding the strongest material we can use and any techniques we can implement to achieve the best results.
