Auto Cover Open or Closed?

Hi

I apologize in advance if this question has been answered a million times already! Just wondering if during the SLAM process it is better to leave the pool uncovered or to close the automatic cover? I assume open, but I just want to get it right.

Yes, open. The sun's rays will help dissipate the CCs as they break down.

Even when the pool is algae free and good you should still open it every few days for a couple of hours at least to let any gasses out that build up under the cover.
