So, I've noticed that in between the "ribs" of some of the sections of my hose (bought house 6 months ago and hose was left by p.o.) there is green algae. Over the weekend I disconnected one section and tried to brush it off, but it seems like to do that to the entire hose it would be a mission. Has anyone ever seen/dealt with something like this?

Raise the FC in your pool while you are running the cleaner. That will get higher chlorinated water into the pipe although some type of bottle brush would be better.
