I'm buying a 15 foot Intex to replace a plywood 17x24 pool. The original pool had a wrap-around deck. I have removed all of the decking except for one end, which I will reuse for the new pool. Question is, how to I add a ladder from the deck into the pool? The old pool had a standard in-ground pool ladder that sat against the wall and was mounted to the deck. I'm assuming this would punch right through the Intex wall since it's not hard. It doesn't seem worth it to spend $150+ on a set of stairs for a $300 pool.
Also, I have a 1.5hp Hayward pump along with a DE filter. Can I reuse this for the Intex or is it too powerful?
