The chances of chlorine stratifying in a pool are pretty remote. Even if the water had thermal layers, the chlorine should be equal in each.The key to algae prevention is never letting your FC get to a "borderline" level where algae can be triggered. Simply keep your chlorine at the levels TFP suggests.
