So Erika is on her way to visit South Florida....
What do I do to prep the pool? First time with a pool and a potential hurricane.
Most likely scenario:
-Multiple inches of rain over a day
-Lots of leaves blown in to the water
-Some gravel off the roof into the pool
-6 hours of no power
Most dangerous scenario:
-12"+ of rain, overflowing the pool and possibly flooded area around it bringing the lawn into the pool
-Lots of leaves blown in to the water
-Some gravel off the roof into the pool
-Flooded yard puts the pump underwater
-Multiple day loss of commercial power, but I have generator power and can run the pump, but can't commit to 8 hours a day
I can have about 10 gallons of Chlorine on hand.
