I've heard that adding dish soap to the pool water will deter yellow jackets by reducing the surface tension so that they will drown when they try to land on the water.
I've also read that this shouldn't be done as it messes up the chemistry and equipment. What damage does it do to the equipment?
If it's not a big issue, how much soap should I add to be effective?
