check for leak

Hello to all,

My nephew's German Shepard fell in the shallow end of my inground pool on Sunday. He attmepted to jump out where he fell in and cut the liner ever so slightly. However the cut is above the water line. Is there an easy way to check to see if his paws cut the bottom of the liner, what to look for, etc.? Thanks for any help!.

Do you happen to have dive goggles for a closer look?
I suspect a big sign would be if you start losing more water than normal evaporation.

If you do a "bucket test" with pool water beside the pool in a bucket, you should be able to gauge if the pool level lowers faster than the bucket after a few days. If it does, closer inspection might be warranted.
