    New liner thus new water

    Hi all— Replaced the vinyl liner after likely 20+ years so obviously starting with brand new water. I’m starting with PH (lower than 7.0). TA is about 40 to start, so I’ll add a little baking soda to raise it. Anything else in particular I should be looking at/for? 18x30’ oval Sand filter Thanks!

    Old Pebble Tec pool needs to be drained

    We will be re-re-tiling our pool deck at the end of the month. Need to drain pool for about one week due to anticipated mess. I could not find a thread for pool startup on used pebble-tec (not a new build). Also, It’s still hot here (Carefree AZ). Tile guy says pebble tec not at risk for one week.
