My pool builder just called and said the Saftron ladder I have in the deep in would not work with any kind of hinges (I have an auto cover). Has anyone with an auto cover found a solution to use a saftron ladder and and add any kind of hinges?

Hello! I am contemplating a rectangle fiberglass pool install and have been looking at a pool that has a built-in niche for an automatic cover. Is there any benefit to this niche over just having the PB build a box (cost savings, aesthetics, etc.)? I haven’t seen too many real-world applications...
