Still no concrete but my husband has decided he would like to install the SWG this season rather than wait. Since we have a Hayward pump and filter I'm thinking the Hayward Salt is the way to go. Does TFP have recommendations on the best place to purchase a SWG for self install?

The VSP is on a timer. So the SWG has to be on it's own timer as well? As for SWG, you have me looking at the Circupool SJ-55 now. It was on that link you posted above. I know nothing about any of this so I appreciate your input.

Thanks for the reply. They are installing a Hayward Sand Filter with a variable speed pump. She said the pump can be set to come on and off on it's own. Is that what you mean by automation?
