    Thoughts on the RJ-60 Plus

Thanks for posting the links to the pics. I was able to view them all. I don't have a Spa and still hope that U will be removed by the PB but might have to remove it myself along with the chlorinator. All the extra plumbing and valves are because the PB did not listen to my request and his...

CaliMar Titanium Edition - built in flow switch

I still am considering the CircuPool RJ-60 Plus. I have a few months time to make my decision and several on TFP or getting or considering those for the high output and better quality than the CompuPool systems. Still wish Hayward would make a larger version other than the commercial units.

    Thoughts on the RJ-60 Plus

Looking forward to learning about your install and hopefully some pictures. I've been very seriously thinking about getting the RJ-60 plus after my new construction pool is up and running. My PB won't talk about any SWG now and will start-up with the inline chlorinator. I don't think I'll be...

CaliMar Titanium Edition - built in flow switch

Thanks Wrinkled for the additional info. I probably will go with the Hayward AQR15. Still hoping they will produce a unit with a larger cell.

CaliMar Titanium Edition - built in flow switch

I'm confused about the RJ CircuPool models. Wrinkled how old is yours and does it have the cell connections straight through or upside down U? The new RJ models might have solved the cracking & leaking problems.

CaliMar Titanium Edition - built in flow switch

I think CircuPool is made by CompuPool. Many members are happy with CircuPool, especially the newest models. When I asked the company that sells CircuPool why they don't have the newest RJ-60 Plus replacement cells for sale on their website they told me go to CompuPool. Most of the complaints...

CaliMar Titanium Edition - built in flow switch

Thanks for the warning Jason. Yes i just searched CompuPool reviews and don't like what I see on Better Business Bureau and Facebook. Yes I think I'll be getting the Hayward AQR15. Wish they had a larger cell like other brands have. I would like to run my pump only 6 to 8 hrs max.

CaliMar Titanium Edition - built in flow switch

Trying to decide on a SWG I was leaning toward the Hayward AQR15 or possibly the CircuPool but just came across the CaliMar Titanium Edition. This appears to be made by Compu Pool but previous threads had no experience with this one. There is a difference however: built in flow switch, 3rd...

    Handrail considerations with SWG?

I did research before specifying the handrail I wanted for my pool under construction. PB didn't install the one I had in the contract. It was to be MARINE Stainless Steel because I will be going to SWG later. You can read about handrail choices and installation in my thread: Handrail in Pavers

how to control IntelliChlor IC40 w/Current Control Relay

Thanks pooldv, I probably will go with a timer and keep SWG runtime less than pump. I have and Intermatic Multiwave which will have one function button not used. So I won't have to buy a separate timer for the SWG. Found this thread: Intermatic Multiwave PE653rc + AquaRite goldline swg

how to control IntelliChlor IC40 w/Current Control Relay

Any new info on wiring SWG with a Variable Speed pump? This is even more common now that so many pools are installing Variable Speed Pumps. I have Pentair Intelliflow XF pump. It's timer is built in. Haven't decided on brand of SWG (probably Aqua Rite or possibly AutoPilot). I don't want to...

    Hayward vs Circupool RJ45 SWG

You can see pics of my pool under construction here: New Pool - Orlando Florida This is my 3rd pool. The last pool I had was 16 yrs ago, also in Florida but it was SW Florida (screened). I used tri-chlor tabs in it for 7yrs. and tested my water weekly with a simple test kit. I had no knowledge...

    Hayward vs Circupool RJ45 SWG

The PB is not going to use Liquid Chlorine and he is not going to let me do anything till he turns the pool over to me. If I do anything & something goes wrong he will blame me. The 10 or is it 11 pucks shouldn't be a problem as it should get the CYA to about 25 -30 for my size pool. I won't...

    Hayward vs Circupool RJ45 SWG

Thanks very helpful - saved me from buying a useless 50lb bucket and seeing CYA go over 200. PB will fill the chlorinator with 10 tabs and I may buy a few till I get to 30 to 50 CYA. Then I will buy liquid chlorine for a while get pool chemistry stable. From Pool Math Salt levels will build up...

    Hayward vs Circupool RJ45 SWG

My pool is under construction and I have narrowed the choice of SWG to Hayward vs Circupool. Pool plumbing already has the Rainbow Chlorinator inline and PB won't talk about changing it until after pool is running. I didn't get a recent price but he probably will charge from what I heard during...
