I know here in Vegas we have to have engineers go over the pool designs to make sure everything is designed for strength. I imagine the permit process is similar in other areas as well. As far as putting an expensive pool on a cheap house...if you build it, there will be a buyer. We just sold...

I used it on my last pool we built here in Vegas, and I just finished our new pool and we used it on this one too. It never turned yellow, cracked or flaked off.

TPS protectant is what I covered my tiles with and it works great. We just finished our second pool build and we are using it on this pool too.

I will definitely post pics when it's done, but it might be a while still, it's already been a year since we started our pool. As for creating a built in drain, that would be cool, but more work than I care to put in. Filling the water bowl and rinsing down the concrete are both easily...
