In the middle of the screen there's a button that says jump to new... Most of the threads I open up automatically go to the latest post, but not always. I'm not really sure why but the ones that don't I just hit the jump to new button I'm using chrome on a phone

At the top of a thread that you have already read there's a button that says "jump to new" and that will take you to your newest unread post. I hated Tapatalk....
