I don't recall an ignore setting for threads, but once you have looked at all the 'New Posts' you can mark the forums Read and then next time you come on and go to 'New Posts' you won't see anything but the post that are new or added to, since your last visit.

If you go to Settings (over on the left), and then to Preferences, and down the page a little is a check box for "Show people's signatures with their messages".

That looks a little like impact damage. Regardless, it's not hard to fix. The hard part is matching the surrounding material. Unless it's a lot worse than it looks in the pictures, I'd just get a tiny bit of concrete stain and touch up those places to match as close as you can.

You could also copy the text and paste it and then click the 'Quote' icon (looks like a text bubble) in the reply window.

Gene is correct, there's a 'TFP Lifetime' badge right about your avatar. I don't think you see it if your accessing the site on a mobile device, but rest assured, it's there.

You also have the ability to turn your sig on or off in the advanced editor when you post. If you turn it off it won't show up when you post.

As Lee said, make sure the pic is public and then go to the pic that you want to embed and select the share box and then the html/bbcode box. Under the code are 3 buttons, select the BBCode button. Then it's just a matter of selecting the entire code, copy it and paste it in the post you want it...

Another handy shortcut that I use all the time is when replying to or creating a post is to use ALT-S to post it rather than clicking the "Post" button.

There have been a few signatures that got wonky in the switch. We'll get it fixed for you. What happens when you go to >settings > Edit signature?

You won't have the star on your own post (can't increase your own reputation :-) ) It's only on other peoples posts.

I added a reputation to Leebo's post (just because he said I was right) :mrgreen: and noticed that his dot changed color.

The rectangular dot between the badges is your reputation I believe. Since we're all new here none of us have any.

I think it's something particular to individual setups and not something with TFP. I use IE 9 here and never get signed off. I have used IE 9 and 10 with win 7 and 8 at the other location and it continually gets signed off. I use FF with win 7 and 8 at the other location and it never gets signed...

I just got the "can't use search" error. Lasted a couple of minutes.

Just got the error again. 11:14 CDT.

Just got the "Sorry but you cannot use search function at this time. Please try again in a few minutes." error at 7:29 CDT. I use the "view unread posts" function and had been on a couple hours when I got it. Lasted until 7:34 CDT.

That's good info. I wonder if there's a similar command in IE? Firefox works fine for me but I can't get IE to stay logged in.

I still have the problem with IE at home on both computers running W7 and W8. I don't have the problem with either computer using Firefox. I don't know what it is.

If the cover has any tiny holes in it, the cover pumps will pump out pool water with the rain water, so you need to leave the cover open when doing the bucket test.
