I thought labor may be the deciding factor.Previously when I asked the question(other pool builders) I would get answers like concrete isn't strong enough(didn't make any sense) or concrete is to rigid.

I have always been curious why poolcrete or vermiculite is used for pool hopper walls/floors.Why not concrete?cost? Ease of installation?Ground movement?

Since most pool plumbing is plastic it is difficult to locate precicesly.I have used a metal "fish tape" inserted into plastic pipe and a metal detector to locate plastic pipes.I have never used this technique on pools but I don't see why this wouldn't work except if you have alot of buried...
