Well, I finally got frustrated enough to cut the darn thing off. Yipeee, it's threaded in the pump housing. Now to just get a PVC to make the connection and some pool pipe-glue and I'm good to go. Thanks for all the input. Cheers

I've read some threads about leaky pump housings. I'm not sure what type of pump it is, but I can see that there's a leak a the location in the picture. This is a pic at the front of the impeller housing. I can see water and air-bubbles from the top of silver connector. Any one have any...
