Sorry, CYA is 60 pH is 7.3 Alkalinity is 75 FC right now is 12.5, gonna top up to 15 in a minute. Water looks like it's getting greener. I'm using a TF-100 test kit. My water averages 47" deep.

Well, I changed my filter and added the CYA. Just waiting for CC's to come down. Just so I'm clear, the CC test is the OT one wherein you add the 5 drops into the yellow side of the test kit and read the color. Mine is ORANGE when I add the drops. FC's are holding well.

Well I woke up to 14 ppm FC's. So I won't be testing too much longer at those levels, but please elaborate on that method or point me in the right direction to where I can read about it.

FC's dropped to 13 overnight. Topped up at 7:00 am and at 8:00 am it was still 15. At 8:00 pm, FC was zero (FULL sun all day). I tested the CC also at 8:00 pm and it was zero. I tested the CC's before when the FC were high, and the CC's were above 5. Going to top up again now. So, here's the...

Fc dropped to 9.5 from 15 overnight. It seems some of the stuff that I'm vacuuming is passing thru the filter and going back into the pool, it must be very fine, whatever it is. I'll have to figure something out.

Explain vacuum to waste. I have a cartridge filter, I don't know if I can do that. Last night, the last FC test of the night, the reading was 15 ppm, so it didn't drop any during that last hour. I think that's good.
