The enclosure was $9200. I love it. I can leave my back door open and it feels like a part of my house. I have seen some with glass on top. Only issue is it's hard to clean. Lots of waterspots

My agent told me if I really wanted a slide I could get one and not tell the insurance company but if for some reason I filed a claim or i changed something in the policy someone would come out and look at the house and at that time would see the slide.

Re: New pool in south Florida need help on finish! When you call the city, tell them that your financing is only good for a certain ammount of time and you are worried that if the permit takes too long that the loan will expire. I had mine in 24 hours.

I wish here in Florida we could get State Farm or Allstate for home owners insurance. I go through Allstate but they make it clear that they are not thte insurance company. State Farm has talked about offering homeowners insurance again in Florida but has not.

Furniture is poly wood. A little expensive but it has a 20 year warranty.

My BP said today that there is no need for the acid feeder but i got the SWG system. HE also said that with a screen he said that I don't need a robot cleaner. I don't have personal experience yet on this though. You could always wait on it and see if yo need it.

Water starting to get where it needs to be.

That is what we originally wanted to go with but the PB stamped the wrong design. This was the only day i wasn't able to be home for a major part of the build.

I have 1 pump for my pool, spa and water feature. The water feature is pre plummet for later install. The pump is variable speed which is good and there are valves for all 3.

I don't think that the acid wash took enough off. When the PB comes tomorrow I am going to ask him if there is a way to scrub a little more. I am sure there is a way. Pics soon!!!

There is water ! I repeat, there is water! The pool is full! It's green water but none the less there is water! PB comes tomorrow to get the pumps and everything running.

I used the antigua. It looks a little green now but after the chemicals are added I'm sure it will blue up.

Re: New pool in south Florida need help on finish! i went with an upgrade to my plaster and mine was $800 more. if I would have went with a Pebble and pearl it would have been $1800 more. My PB said there is more labor involved.
