South Florida New Build dig 5/6

We are set for final inspections today. If all goes well the pool will be surfaced and filled on Tuesday next week. Really wish we could've had it completed before the 4th but no such luck. We are putting in a marcite alternative Quartz surface. I have seen several pools in our neighborhood...

    Florida pool build oh boy!

Interesting. I was told neither of those alarms would work in Palm Beach Co. They were very specific which ones would pass inspection. Yard Guard was one, and can't remember the other brand I got. I had to get 8 @ $30 each:eek:

I found the "Classic" wall whale at a local store. I previously bought the "XL" so I took it back. The classic was $23. Now if I can just get the pool finished so I have something to brush.....

    Wall Whale brush

This thing is huge, without comparing to a "typical" brush or even the classic. Do you know if the tail is the same size as the classic? Is it the brush itself that makes it XL? Maybe for $20 its worth taking the tail off and mounting on a regular size nylon brush..Thanks

    Wall Whale brush

I found a Wall Whale XL today at a local store for $19.99. I wanted the regular, not the XL but I'm a big guy and will make it work. The store rep told me it was a discontinued product and once the sold the last 2 they had they would not get anymore. he also had a knock off but it looked...

South Florida New Build dig 5/6

So we were planning to surface and fill this week after final inspections, but no such luck...My fence did not pass inspection because the gap between the bottom of my rod iron (ok, aluminum) fence and the ground is more than 2". This is a requirement for my city. I also have not landscaped...

New Pool Build - Conroe, TX - LOTS of pics! Come say hi Y'all.

We found these Chaise Lounges at Costco for $299. You get 2 loungers in a box. If you buy at the store you save on shipping. We haven't opened them yet, but we did sit in them in the store. Great chairs and another option if looking for loungers. Untitled by natvtxn27, on Flickr[/IMG]...

For sure!! I've got a small dog that likes to run down and poop by the water. Can't let him out without a leash. He's about the size of a good appetizer for a gator!! And we've seen a few good size gators there. They are mostly fished out if they get over 5 ft but every now and then we get a...

too late for a bench? ready for pebble

Just a question, is it for safety or for hanging out? Could you put a bolt on ladder instead of a bench? Don't think that solves your problem if it's for hanging out.
