    Sand of Algae

    My wife vacuumed the pool yesterday and this is what it looked like this morning. She vacuumed it again today. If it looks this way tomorrow, I feel for sure it will be sand. Just not sure how it gets in there. Would I have an issue with my pump?

    Sand of Algae

    I'm new to this site and to in ground pools. I have a substance in my pool that I am not sure if it is sand or algae. I have added some pictures so maybe someone can tell me what it looks like. Thanks for any help.
