Possitively Option 3 would be my vote. It will looks rich with your flagstone, and will age well too, and show off your chairs.. Also since you have the great pool chairs, I think I would use some of the rusty burlap color elsewhere on the patio or in the yard.

I looked at it several times. I think the effect of only one pump is rather nice. It looks more refreshing and inviting to swim or float near.

Well, you do need them at least on the steps. The shells offset the grey tone on shallow water on steps, and do make it more interesting. They threw the shells in last on top of pebble install and left for day. The next day they came with the acid wash. Suddenly there were little stars...

You can McGyver it with a little Texas duck tape. Everyone gets introduced to Spanx at some point in their lives. It's guaranteed with a AAA+ rating to remove all that haunts you perfectly just long enough for a photo shoot ;)
