I have to buy a new cover this year. I purchased a reel last year for our 27' round above ground pool. The cover that came with the pool seemed a bit heavy when it was rolled up on the reel. I was wondering what Mil thickness is optimum for a reel? My reel is located on the end of the pool...

Hello, We do have our CYA at 30. I do not have an ozonator (what is this?). I did a drain and refill for my BBB switch. We use the spa about 1 -3 times a week for less than an hour with 2 to 4 people. I am using the TF-100 kit and testing the FAS-DPD way. We tested again today and the...

Warm spring has acellerated my opening time line - green

Hello I live in MN and this was our first winter with our above ground pool. We live in a newer development so there are little to no tree's in close proximity to our pool, so we decided to not purchase a winter cover this year. I closed the pool as instructed by the post on this site. This...

Pool timer - run in 2 batches or 1

Currently I have it set to run from 10am to 2 pm and again at 10pm to 2am. I am thinking of running it more in the day (my wife doesn't like the fact that bugs start to collect in the pool when it is not filtering) maybe from 10 - 4 and than again from 11pm - 1am.

Hello, I have a new 27' above ground pool. I filled it to just about half way up the skimmer. We have had rain the past few days and the water is now nearing the top of the skimmer. Do I need to drain some water out? If so how? I have a cartridge filter so there is no backwashing like a...

    Test results what is first

Ok added the stabilizer. Is there a good way of doing this? We mixed the amount listed in the calculator in a bucket and poured into pool slowly, all the stabilizer did not disolve so there is some on the bottom of the pool. I am assuming it will dissolve more as time goes on. Also is the...
