I took it apart. Motor isn't serviceable (by me). Impeller is free. Cheapest motor I can find is CORRECTION $207.

I'm going to have to completely disassemble the pump.

There is no way on that model to turn the impeller by hand unless you are an octopus. And the exploded view (Pentair Dynamo Pump Replacement Parts) doesn't show a capacitor, just the motor as a sealed unit at $209, and I paid $289 for the pump. I can take the impeller housing off tomorrow and...

No leaking. I'm pretty sure it's the capacitor (or I was until I saw that the motor is one unit). I haven't dissected it - There;s a guy at the pool shop who will work on them (side hustle), but that won't be until Tuesday.
