Follow up....After trying to get help from Jandy CS and "nothing" they could do for me about my light "2 year old" and only finding a replacment board for about 1000 bucks. mind you I could buy a new light for around 600 I went with the Pentair Led installed it yesterday and looks great...

Just looking for some input between the Jandy watercolor Led or the pentair Led...I have now a jandy Led thats a bit over 2 years old and the PCB "circuit board" is out. Not very happy about it but I cant seem to just find the board to fix it. Sooo what to do? Not sure if I want to stay with...

120v By the way..spa light works separate switch same box

When I go to turn on the light "using the light switch" It flashes brite but then goes dim and stays like that, dont matter what color. The light is about 3 years old...just wondering if it could be the light it going out or maybe wiring? any ideas or tips to figure it out. Thanks

I have been fighting the PH for the last week. had it 2 days ago at 7.4 yesterday it jumped back up to 8.0 todays reading is at 7.0 and TA is at 50. Man its not easy working on this yet !! Just ordered a TF test kit ..my Taylor is over 2 years old.

One more question..My start up page from the PB wants me to use Jacks magic blue stuff. I cant buy it locally do I need it or is there something else I could use?

First off great site ...I have been trying to read alot. I just finished filling my "new" pool Its about 15000 gallons. I had the Stonescapes pebble installed my Ph is around 8 and TA is at 50 no chlorine added yet. Whats the best way for me to bring the Ph down and TA up?? I tried the pool...

I added to the skimmer ...I just bought another 4 lbs and added about half. I will test it Saturday and see what it comes out at.

If you mean conditioner ...I put what was left of a pale a few days ago.About half a pale not sure of the ounces.

I am filling the test tube to the top and still can see the black dot...what would that mean my number would be?? Here are the rest of my numbers...Any help about the CYA would be great ....thanks FC 3 PH 8 TA 120 CA 250 CYA 9+ ??

Im having the same problem ..pucks didnt do anything. So what would be the right way to get rid of all the black "stuff" I have on the side of the wall?? I have tried scrubbing till my arms hurt and still nothing.

Ok so here are my first results using k2006 FC 1.4 CC 0.6 PH 7.4 TA 110 CYA 20-25 ...this one was very close to the top and a could barely see the black dot CH 250 go easy on me...its my first pool :mrgreen: Also did a check using my Aquachek handheld for comparison CL 0.0 PH 7.3 ALK144

Well I have read the manual but my still sorta lost on the Chlorine test....heres the part what does this mean....I do know about the 25ml or 10ml marks the the tube. Chlorine (Free, Combined) Test 1. Rinse and fill large comparator tube to desired mark with water to be tested. NOTE...

Well after adding 4 boxes of borax here is my new numbers.... CL 4.4 PH 7.9 Alk 157....ouch??
