Need a replacement battery for your Poolblaster/buster?

They sell cheap pinion removal tools on ebay. Only way you can get that gear off without damaging it. I think I picked up a universal one for around $5.00. I switched out the rusted out motor on mine as well.

    Glacier Pool Chillers are Awesome!

I live in Tulsa as well, our 13000 gal pool is in direct sunlight all day long, after the first two weeks of having a solar cover on, we are at a comfortable 84-86 degrees. Running the pump at night with the fountain attached usually keeps it below 90. Don't use the solar cover anymore.

    Just Added Borates

 One of the first things I did after I got the BBB down pat. Everyone that jumps in always says that when they get out their skin doesn't feel dry or "poolish". Makes the wifey happy, which makes me happy.

Can I partially cover my pool?

Partially covering might warm it a bit but it wont help with the evaporation at night. Why not get two covers? Both oversized and just cut to fit, that way you can keep one on and one off. I don't recommend that though as that can be a potential drowning hazard. I did that with my solar...

    Help With Replumbing

Thanks guys. Yeah took my time and even used purple primer. Couldn't find any clear. I didn't have room for a full union on the valve to pump inlet but I did use two threaded bushings so if I ever have to replace the pump I won't booger up a good Jandy valve. I need to do something about the...

    Help With Replumbing

Yeah, lots of constraints with this small pad and where it is located. I was starting last night based upon Wastes recommendations and let me tell you, putting my shoulder into that filter now that waters been pumped through? Help With Replumbing

Yeah its 1.5" and the multi has 2" and Im gonna do the 2" all around. So basically its a clear shot to the multi from the pump we want, the discharge/return doesnt really matter?

    Help With Replumbing

Yeah that would work - except it would put the multi up against the wall. Where that stone is on the bottom of the pic is the exterior wall of my garage. I guess that wouldnt be that big of an issue.

    Help With Replumbing

The pump inlet on the multiport would then be on the left side away from the pump if I turned my filter 90 degrees clockwise. Hmmm, you have given me a few things to consider. Can I do anything about that fiberglass? It is an old filter, I'd like to paint it but would it be helpful to...

    Help With Replumbing

:-D Yeah, it bugs me everytime I look at it. Plus whenever I need to get at the strainer basket I skin my knuckles on the pipe right near it. Im not worried about the flowmeter as Im going to do something with it. What about flex pvc line from the pump into the valve? The thing Im...
