    Replastered Pool

Thank you. I think this is what we’ll do. Hopefully there is no rain or very hot weather. I am glad to know that waiting a few hours before filling is recommended. I wish I had chosen a pool company that coordinated this repair with water and pool chemicals. What I saved in price I am paying...

    Replastered Pool

I have a poll plaster company that wants to only do my pool plastering on the weekend. Unfortunately, the pool water delivery trucks only work during the week. I know you are supposed to fill and adjust the chemistry immediately. If I have the plaster work done and can't fill the pool for a...

FC slightly high, TC high... what to do?

You’re right. And I hate the color matching... half the time the shades of colors are not usable! I will get a better kit next year. Thanks for your suggestion on the test kits and the end of year pool chemistry. We may try getting a day or two in the pool this week, but outside of that...

FC slightly high, TC high... what to do?

I am using two different test samples... BioGuard Multi Test and as a double check, Aquachek 7 test strips. The TC can’t be measured with the BioGuard kit... - - - Updated - - - My CYA is showing as fine (30-50) on the test strips. I haven’t used any yellow out products.

FC slightly high, TC high... what to do?

Unground pool, two skimmers... one seems clogged

I am assuming that my skimmers are connected together, and that by closing off the 'circuit' and pumping pressurized water into one skimmer, I will force it OUT the other (using the bladder). Make any sense?

Unground pool, two skimmers... one seems clogged

I just moved to a new home and have a 30+ year old unground pool. Although the pump, filter, and salt water chlorinator are new, the pool and plumbing are not. One skimmer seems to get extraordinary amounts of suction, while the other one seems to barely have any at all. I realize that some...

    Flolight LED wireless pool lights

I just ordered Flolight Pool lights. The attach to the returns and generate electricity for the LED lights from the water flow. Sounds great for my inground pool- especially as these things are just over $30 each and the replacement repairs for my old fiberoptic system would be $2000. Anyway...
