Wooded lot with constant debris on bottom of pool

I have the same, wooded lot with lots of debris. EVERY. DAY. It’s not just during the fall, it’s also pollen, storms, and stuff that lives in the trees, ie. squirrels. Around August/September when the acorns are ripe the squirrels purposefully sit above us chewing on acorns and dropping them on...

Fiberglass Discoloration (Faded & Chalky) - My Story

Wow thanks for sharing your story. I have a fiberglass pool with SWG and have yet to figure out my issue. It’s white everywhere below the water line (for the most part) but it’s not “chalky”. Nothing works but I’ll keep trying. One thing in my case I wanted to shed light on for you is that we...

    Renaissance Ultraviolet + Ozone

That was an auto-correct - thanks Siri! I meant to say salt wreaks havoc on everything it touches. I don’t have any streaks :D

    Renaissance Ultraviolet + Ozone

I am a current pool owner with a SWG but am moving from VA TO ND and will be building a new pool with my new home. I like my SWG but have enough issues that I’m inclined to lean away from it this time around. Mainly the havoc salt steaks on EVERYTHING it touches, amongst other things. My new PB...

New Build - North Dakota hoping to extend pool season - experience and advice needed!

Thank you for the reply. I normally read the forum and haven't posted much so not sure if or how I can send you a link from an old thread from 2007. In that thread, the TFP Expert said this: "It's not just that the pool needs enclosing in the winter. The equipment will also. A heater will need...

What have you found in the skimmer basket?

I've found frogs, mice, chipmunk, cicadas, snakes, a baby bunny (thankfully still alive I took him to the vet that treats wild animals). Unlucky for me I find all this junk of course when my husband isn't around to take care of it! I could not and would not live without "The Skimmer Angel"...

I live in Northern VA, about 20 miles west of DC so, a little bit warmer than NJ. Our pool is surrounded by trees but does get direct sunlight about half of the day. We have a heat pump and combined with a solar cover, we have been able to keep our pool at a warm 90 degrees through September...

Slide or No Slide...that is the question.

I forgot to mention the valid issue about leaking......when the slide was installed the PB put silicone in the joints of the slide in addition to the rubber pieces that came when the slide. We've had no issues with the slide leaking.

Slide or No Slide...that is the question.

We had our pool installed in 2011 when I was 7 months pregnant and at the time were not certain whether we wanted to put in a slide so had the PB install the plumbing for one - easier and cheaper now than later. Fast forward 4 years and our little guy has been a slide fanatic for 3 years and...
