Also, my weir is the flap type and I have an adjustable speed pool pump. I read that a floating weir is better when running the pump at a low speed.

Thanks for all of the feed back. So, I also had my system running in spa mode tonight and when I went to shut it off I realized that it also said the pool mode was on. It seems to also turn pool mode on when I turn the spa mode on. Is that normal? I have never noticed warm water going in my pool...

Also, when you said it is likely a valve issue for the spa were you referring to the jets not working or the water level dropping?

What would cause an air leak

One more data point: when I run the system in pool mode I notice some air bubbles coming out of mr return lines in the pool.

I have had a bucket test done. They also marked lines. I do have a Sand filter but not sure about the back wash.
