I got a new Raypak 106, hooked it up tonight, first time I turned it on it sparked a few times and then it came on and seemed to working OK. Then it seemed to be turning off and on and finally it was off completely. I turned the switch off and back on but not hearing any spark, am I missing...

Anyone have any experience or opinions on this pool heater. I'm looking at buying a used one local and putting it away for next season.

I have a couple of questions on closing: 1. What are some opinions on leaving the skimmer on for the winter? ( I live in SW Pa) 2. My pool was just installed at the beginning of August, do I need to take my earth filter apart to clean it before I put it away or just backflush?
